The Team "Z" Philosophy:
We breed as close to the Havanese standard as possible
We completely health test and require any dog that we breed to be tested for known genetic
diseases
We breed our dogs to contribute to the betterment of its breed, and only breed for a specific
puppy
.
We use Carmen Battaglia's method of "Breeding Better Dogs"
We breed specifically for the 6 critical elements of the Havanese Breed;
1. Topline (straight but not level, rising slight from withers to rump).
2. Outline ( Slightly longer than tall, with head carried high and tail arched over back.
3. Gait (Springy and elegant, with moderate reach and drive, showing free reach and good extension)
4. Coat (Soft, silky, wayvy and abundant.
5. Head and Expression (Broad backskull and large dark almond eyes; correct earset , full rectangular
muzzle.
6. Temperment (Intelligent, playful, sweet and non-quarrelsome)
